Last weekend, I spent some time waiting for a train in the middle of nowhere. Wandering around the train station, I found a stack of dead wood, cut some time back and forgotten. I love the structure of wood, whether alive, freshly cut or in the process of decay. Actually, decay can be beautiful, too.
