No, it’s not raining men, it’s raining rain, that’s it…!

I must admit that not all of nature’s moods made me very happy in France. In particular the veil of shame worn by majestic Mt. Blanc did not please me a lot – too many clouds and a curtain of rain prevented us from seeing it at all.

But you can do other stuff when it’s raining: Shiver, swear, eat, eat some more, buy rubber boots.  Not to forget: You can count raindrops on your tent. That is a time-filling exercise, keeping your head busy.

Or you just stroll through Chamonix. I loved this boucherie-charcuterie, a butcher’s shop with lot’s of visual taste, if you know what I mean.
