I am the worst gardener, ever. When I was in my teens, yes, I was the queen of potted plants, and my room was a green jungle. But nowadays, especially since I’ve worked as a consultant, the skill totally left me. If it was a plant, I’d even kill a stone by not watering it or watering it too much. Or, even worse, I’d kill it by trying to optimize it. Imagine, I killed a giant Euphorbia after it had survived for 20 years – by cutting it to size. Gosh, how could this happen?

But now, look at my urban garden! It’s a special consultant garden which would survive the next ice age. Because it has survived a year under my care. Look at where it began a year ago. Maybe it helped to talk gently to the plants like here.

And look at this – it even has flowers!!!
